On Saturday 29 August 2026, we're bringing one of the most respected instructors in traditional martial arts to Hounslow.

 

Julian Mead Shihan — 8th Dan Ryukyu Kobujutsu and 8th Dan Yui Shin Kai Karate — will lead an unmissable afternoon dedicated to deepening your practice.

What to expect

The seminar runs 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Lampton School (registration opens 12:30 PM).

Julian Mead Shihan will work across all experience levels:

  • Everyone will train Bo, Shuji No Kon Sho, and Ju Kumite

  • Less experienced students progress to Shuji No Kon Dai and Ju Go Kumite

  • Advanced practitioners will study Tonfa, Hamahiga No Tonfa, and Kumite

This is structured, traditional training — not a vague workshop. You'll leave with material you can actually build on.
